Our History

Alamo Structural Steel, LLC was established January 2, 2018 as a subsidiary of FabSouth, LLC and acquired the structural steel fabrication assets of CMC Steel Fabricators, Inc. on April 2, 2018.

Alamo Steel Company originated in the 1940’s and had several owners from inception to June 1, 1987 when it was acquired by Commercial Metals Company. This facility has been in operation since the 1940’s at this location under the following names:

1946-1987 – Alamo Steel Company
1987-2018 – CMC Steel Fabricators, Inc.
April 2, 2018 – Alamo Structural Steel, LLC
